The Ultimate Heist

I'll be roleplaying as Xander and Rouge. Anyone can join if they want.

I will be me.

When can we start? I can write up the starting post, just tell me what the setting is.

Rouge and Xander will be near where one of the emeralds is. You guys can start wherever you want.

Shadow was dashing through the forest looking for his teammate and friend. Apparently Rouge hadn't been at G.U.N. today and Shadow had been ordered to find her. Shadow continued searching until he decided to enter the city. Shadow then saw two silouette's off in the distance, he couldn't make out who though. Figured it had to be night.

Shadow hit the ground and looked to see his brother. "I'm busy right now." Shadow said getting to his feet. He dashed over to the silhouette. One of them had entered the building. The other was... "Xander, have you seen Rouge? She wasn't at G.U.N. HQ today, they sent me to look for her, but I..." Shadow stopped, he had always cared about her but refused to admit it. "Have you seen her?"

"Hmph whatever, thanks anyway. I could care less, I'm just following orders. Shadow spoke harshly, he turned his head and crossed his arms. He lowered his head a bit and shut his eyes. He was freaking out inside, what if she was kidnapped, or hurt, it even dead? He cringed at the thought. He had never had the courage to admit to anybody how he really felt. "Xander? Where is she?" Shadow asked, he had a feeling he was being lied to, that or he was in denial.

Shadow immediately whipped around. "You two are stealing a Chaos Emerald!?" Shadow asked, he figured he shouldn't be surprised, but still, he had to do something right?

Shadow jumped in the window and followed Xander. "Listen, I could care less about you, but I have a mission to locate Rouge, nothing more. If you wanna steal a Chaos Emerald be my guest. But when the world is in peril and we can't find all seven emeralds, well... you get the point." Shadow said walking past Cancer and opened the door.

"Makovski, I appreciate your enthusiasm but this is a G.U.N. matter. Actually..." Shadow pulled Makovski closer so Xander couldn't hear. "This is a personal matter for me, I care deeply about that woman and she never goes anywhere without telling me, because she knows I normally don't care what she does."

"Hmph... It's still my mission to locate her, orders from the president. Do you have contact with her?" He kept bringing up the mission, making it sound like he didn't care, but it ate him up inside knowing that she still kept things from. Of course he did the same thing, but it still bothered him.

"Well then tell her I'm looking for her, and I won't stop until my mission is completed." Shadow said then looked out the door Xander had stopped him from entering. He looked over at the heavily protected Chaos Emerald, but Rouge was no where in sight. "Where is she? The Chaos Emerald is over here, but she isn't." Shadow looked back at Xander. "I'll help you snatch the Chaos Emerald, then once I talk to Rouge I'll leave you alone."

Suddenly a dark mist appeared near Shadow's shadow. Then his shadow began to expand and took 3d shape as it formed. It became colored and it looked like him, only with faded blue streaks and trims on his shoes, also he had reptilian eyes. "What the, who are you?" The figure looked up at shadow. "You forgot me again? Your memory goes faint with every passing moment. I am Mephiles the Dark. You see we've met repeatedly. How about I just refresh your memory." Mephiles said as he slowly walked closer to the black hedgehog.
